The Montagu
The Montagu course has recently re-opened following a revamp. Each of the 18 holes has changed, with new placements for holes one and nine. Players will enjoy better playability, a greater challenge and a more aesthetically pleasing course. The course is around 350m longer, thus creating a greater challenge. Although the course will play tougher, a set of five tee boxes has been introduced so that each golfer can decide at what level of toughness to play.
The Outeniqua
This 18-hole parkland course, which took shape under master golfer Gary Player, offers surroundings of mountains, water and wildlife. And as a round on the Outeniqua course is limited to members, their guests and resort guests only, there is ample time and space to savour the golfing experience.
The Links
This inland links course presents an undulating, windswept terrain with dune-style landscaping, and is the only such course in South Africa. Home of The Presidents Cup 2003, this Gary Player designed course is set in the most peaceful and scenic area on the Fancourt Estate. Every hole has received detailed attention to ensure that the overall balance in terms of length, position of hazards, and shot values are in harmony, resulting in a stern test in all weather conditions.
Bramble Hill
Bramble Hill is a parkland course with links features, offering the golfer a good mix of the Fancourt’s three other courses: The Montagu, The Outeniqua and The Links. The Bramble Hill golf course is open to the public, and has been designed to give golfers of every level a true Fancourt experience.

The George Golf course is a beautifully manicured, 72 par, 18 hole course, with bent greens, set in the heart of the garden route. The course rating for men is either 70 (club – 5774m) or 72 (championship – 6100m), while that for the ladies is 72 (5188m). Visitors are welcome, with the exception of Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, which are reserved for members. No group bookings allowed on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Booking is essential. Caddies and motorised golf cars are available for hire – golf cars must be booked in advance. Golfing equipment is for sale in the pro-shop. Lessons may be arranged with the resident golf professional. Golf clubs/trolleys may be hired from the pro-shop. |

The Augusta National Golf Club is reputedly so beautiful that each hole is named after a different type of flower. It regards itself so August, that broadcasters at the Masters are required to call fans "patrons" and to be nice about the course. The Goose Valley Golf Course is just as beautiful and needs to coerce no one to be nice about the course. The setting is magnificent - alongside the sea with the mountains as a backdrop - and each hole is a pleasure to play. As Gary Player says, the test is that when you have finished your eighteen holes, you want to come back and play again.
The Golf Club opened officially on 27 April 2003. It had been a nine hole course for some years prior to that, which did not really count. By the end of 2002 a fully re-designed eighteen holes had been finished, and by the end of April the course was, to say the least, in great shape. The ebullient Gary Player confirmed: "One does not get better conditioned fairways, bunkers and greens. House-keeping is reaching the standard which a club of this standing expects." |

This course is probably the only golf course in South Africa which can boast holes that are below sea level. When the course floods, which it does from time to time, it is possible to canoe down the fairway on the 465-metre par-five 4th hole. It is situated close to the famous and very beautiful Knysna Heads, as well as the Knysna Lagoon. |

Set in the heart of the Klein (small) Karoo this course is a paradise amongst the dry backdrop of the Karoo's ostrich capital of the world. A splendid layout makes this course an enjoyable round of golf. Oudtshoorn being the closest town to the famous Congo Caves is a very popular tourist attraction and the course proves an excellent diversion for the keen golfer.
The Oudtshoorn Golf Club was established to the west of the town in 1922 and then relocated to its present position in 1957. It's a well-established 18-hole layout that is surprisingly lush and in great condition. Although Oudtshoorn is only sixty-odd kilometers from George it is drier and warmer and makes an attractive and different stop for touring golfers - especially in a wet coastal winter!

This golf estate is situated on the rolling hills between the Knysna lagoon and the rocky cliffs of the Indian Ocean. The area known as the East Heads has become the site of 18 spectacular championship holes of golf and 250 hectares of well-planned residential properties and natural gynbos communities. The Scottish "links-style" course; designed by Ronald Fream and David Dale of Golfpan in California, features cool-season grasses and five different tee placements to stify, challenge and reward all golfers.
Golf course architects Ron Fream and David Dale of GolfPlan USA have sculptured an incredibly diverse coastal terrain into a course that offers all players a total golfing experience. The varied coastal terrain offers a complete golfers' menu requiring a full range of shots. The course’s designers, Ron Fream and David Dale (Golfplan USA) have compared the look of Pezula golf course to that of Gleneagles in the Scottish Highlands and Pebble beach on the Monterey coastline.
