Location
Where all your senses come alive! A sizeable section of the travelling public is under the impression that the Lowveld only exists in the Nelspruit, White River and Hazyview areas, and the Escarpment ends at the Blyde River Canyon. This misconception results in many people denying themselves the pleasure of experiencing the comparatively unspoilt and more peaceful northern camps of the Kruger National Park, the immense expanse of the northern Lowveld and the magnificent forests, mountains, streams and dams of the Wolkberg and upper Letaba region.

In an attempt to create greater awareness of this area four Community Tourism Associations in the Northern Province ~ Letaba Tourism, the Phalaborwa Association for Tourism, The Central Lowveld Tourism Association and the Giyani Environmental and Tourism Association have pooled their resources and developed a joint marketing campaign.

The area covered by the four Trourism Associations actually encompasses the middle reaches of the Olifants River with its major tributaries, the Letaba, Shingwedzi, Blyde, Mohlapitse, Ga-Selati, Timbavati and Klaserie rivers.
It is an area rich in wildlife, scenery, mountains, rivers, dams, archaeology, cultural and ethnic attractions and important sites associated with the early history of the region.

The "Valley of the Olifants" region is committed to the implementation of the concept of ecotourism because it has all the ingredients necessary to ensure that tourism creates tangible benefits for the local communities and the resources themselves.

Directions
Travel on the N1 North and before Pietersburg (Polokwane) take the Tzaneen turn-off. Continue until the third 4-way stop and then turn right towards Tzaneen. Go through Magoebaskloof and when you come to a T-junction, turn right towards Tzaneen.

Travel for approximately 5km, go over a bridge and turn left at Tzaneen/Gravelot. Go over the 4-way stop (there is an Excel Garage on the right), proceed for 15kms and at the 4-way stop turn right and continue for approximately 4 - 6 kms, where you will see Letaba Estates on the left hand side. Go through the boom gate and follow the signs to the club.
