Out of bounds
1. All perimeter fences of the course and white stakes left of 16th hole.
2. The staff quarters and workshop areas between the first and the second fairways - the boundary is demarcated by the white stakes.
3. Inside the fences surrounding the 9th dam. (Balls may not be retrieved from inside fence).
4. The golfers` car park at the back of the 9th green.
Trees and Shrubs
A ball lying in a position where the player`s stance or awing is interfered with by a tree or shrub marked with a white stake may be dropped without penalty within one club length of the nearest point of relief from the obstruction, measured from where the ball lies, but NOT nearer the hole. A young tree or shrub shall be one marked with a white stake.
The following are deemed to be immovable obstructions and many NOT be moved notwithstanding that they may be movable.
All identification stakes and signs (excepts white stakes defining out of bounds from which no relief is permitted)
All tree markers
Metal posts and chains around tees and elsewhere restricting entry. Relief may be obtained under Rule 24-2.
All sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under rule 24 -2.
Flower beds - Play prohibited
A ball coming to rest in any flowerbed MUST be lifted and dropped without penalty within one club length from the nearest point of relief NOT nearer the hole.
Water and lateral water hazards
The margins of water hazards are defined by yellow strakes and the margins of lateral water hazards by red stakes. Stakes defining hazards are in such hazards. Any bridge, road or path, to the extent that it crosses a hazard, is part of such hazard.
All distance markers are measured to the centre of the green.

Take the William Nicol off- ramp on the (N1) highway (western bypass), travel in an eastern direction towards Sandton on William Nicol (R511). At the third set of traffic lights turn right into Bryanston Drive, cross over Grosvenor Road and you will find the country club on your right hand side.
